Follow these easy steps to apply your car window sticker:
- Clean: Make sure your surface is clean and clear of debris.
- Peel: Remove the backing.
- Apply: Gently press the sticker onto the surface. Start in the middle and work your way out.
- Squeegee: Use a squeegee (sold separately) to remove any bubbles.
You can choose between our inside-glass or outside-glass options for either type. Inside-glass decals (also known as second surface decals) are printed on the cling side. Outside-glass decals (or first surface decals) cling on the back and are applied to the outside of your car or window.
Our car vinyl stickers use transparent polyacrylate. It’s a removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive that stays put – but doesn’t damage your car’s paint job.
Choosing between car door decal or car window decal is a matter of personal preference. That said, there are a few things we do recommend keeping in mind:
-
If your car has just been painted, we recommend that you wait about 30 days before applying a car door decal – or you could opt for a car window decal instead.
-
If the colour of your vehicle matches the colour of your logo, reconsider designing a clear car door decal. Your logo will stand out better with a car door decal that has a white background.
-
Car window decals should never be used on your windshield, front windows or any other window that blocks your view while driving.
Our custom decals aren’t made for surfaces other than glass, car doors or windows and certain flooring. That said, if you’re interested in adding a sticker to other surfaces, our bumper stickers may do the trick.
We recommend sticking your custom decals onto the following surfaces:
-
Window decals: Ideal for glass only.
-
Wall decals: Sticks well to painted plasterboard, plastic, tiles,
smooth metal, sealed concrete and finished wood. -
Car window stickers: Ideal for glass only.
-
Car door stickers: Adheres to the outside of car doors and windows.
Floor decals: Suitable for hardwood flooring, waxed vinyl,
laminate and sealed concrete.
While our decals can be easily repositioned, frequent removal and reapplication may lead to dust and debris buildup, causing bubbles in the decal.
