When adding raised foil to your business card design, we recommend keeping the following points in mind: Use a minimum 10 pt font size to prevent blending or smudging between letters. Avoid using fonts that are extremely thin or the ones that have very small spaces in between (or even inside) letters. These may not give you the crispest printing results> Avoid adding foil to very fine details or double-lined borders. These might smudge when being printed and affect the clarity and precision of your overall design. Make sure all foil-printed parts remain fully within the design safety area for proper printing and cutting of your cards.

Great final product, but misleading design tools cost me double.

The final result of my business cards is exactly what I wanted, but getting there was a frustrating and expensive process. When I initially designed the cards, the design confirmation page looked perfect on my screen. However, when the first batch arrived, my logo had a slightly different background color instead of blending seamlessly with the rest of the card. Assuming I had just made a mistake, I went back, manually removed the background from my logo, and paid for a second order out of pocket. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened again. It turns out their "AI background remover" tool doesn't actually make the image transparent, and—most importantly—the design confirmation page completely fails to show this accurately. What you see is not what you get. I finally reached out to the help desk. The support team was fantastic; they manually edited the logo for me and printed a new batch completely free of charge, which turned out perfect. While I’m really happy with the end result and appreciate the customer support team stepping up, I’m still out of pocket for that first order due to their misleading preview system. TL;DR: The customer service is great and the cards are high quality, but do not trust the AI background remover or the on-screen proof. It ended up costing me twice as much as it should have.

is only available for the front of your card design.

Our raised foil is available in two different colours: gold and silver.
However, please note that you can select only one foil colour at a time. If
you’re looking for more colour options, you can check out our metallic
business cards (they offer a flat metallic finish that matches the original
colours of your design).
