Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. You’ll have a chance to add envelopes after designing. Please note that you’ll receive one envelope for each card. You can skip envelopes, too.
Not quite. Both provide guests with essential information: the difference is how much. With save the dates, you’re simply announcing your wedding and asking loved ones to hold the date for the occasion (hence the name). Save the dates should always be sent before invitations so that guests have ample time to plan and block off time for the event.
Invitations, on the other hand, are sent after save the dates and contain all the important details about your wedding. That includes the time, date and address of the ceremony and reception. Lots of couples also add enclosure cards with info on lodging, transportation, maps to the venue, etc. If you’re hosting multiple events (such as a rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch), it helps to include an itinerary as well. Last, but definitely not least, invitations should always contain RSVP cards (or a QR code to RSVP).
Yes, two of our paper stock options fit the bill:
Corn Stock is an alternative paper made from a mix of recycled fibre, Elemental Chlorine Free pulp and agricultural waste (otherwise discarded in landfills). Corn Stock saves 15% of tree pulp used in manufacturing paper and replaces it with organic produce waste from corn. It reduces carbon emissions by 20% compared to traditional paper production methods.
Kraft paper is crafted from responsibly sourced materials, and is both recyclable and compostable.
