Your classic canvas is mounted inside a wooden frame that leaves a small gap to create the illusion that the canvas is floating within the frame. Many professional artists use this style of framing to create impactful and stunning art.

Our oak floating frames are crafted from natural timber that creates a stunning finish. There will be variations between each oak frame as they are unique and no two frames are the same. This is the nature of timber products. The original beauty of the timber with its variations in grain and knots are special and create an authentic timber aesthetic which many customers love.

Our black and white floating frames are painted over natural oak so you can enjoy a beautifully white or black frame that creates impactful art. The natural oak has unique grains and knots which will subtly show through but the colour will be consistent and striking across each frame.

If you’re using a rectangular photo for a square canvas, you’ll likely need to make some image layout adjustments to prevent white margins. Don’t worry, in our design studio, you’ll be able to crop and preview your layout before checking out. (Need help? Just give us a call.)
